Acid indegestion is something that no body wants to live with.  Is it possible to get relief through something other than medecine?  Well if I told you changing your diet could get you some relief would you?  Well there is relief out there. Changing your diet and eathing proper foods can really help your indegestion out.  I am a college student suffering from GERD and I have found just by changing my diet, things have turned for the better.

 We all know the burn in the belly. It can be a horrible experience. There is cure. By following these tips you can cut the burn and finally get some ease from the pain.

Stay away from vitamin C

 

Get familiar with foods that can increase your stomachs acidic secretion. Foods packed full of Vitamin C are just add fuel to the fire. Avoid all forms of citrus fruits to be on your way to relief.

Calcium is a NO NO.

 

Avoiding foods high in calcium can help you handle your acid production. Milk and other Dairy foods can cause harm to the belly. Some anti-acid pills actually contain calcium which can harm your stomach more than cure it. I know it is hard to get rid of them but some times cure is is better.

Low acidic fruit

 Eat vegetable that have lower acid content. Vegetables such as tomatoes have very large amounts of acid contained in them, be sure to avoid if at all possible.

Stear Clear of Fat

 Fat causes your stomach to be lined with a layer of oils. This prevents your stomach to do exactly what it needs to do. This means food doesn't flow how it should through your stomach.
